Dan Bentley's VW Polo 6r GTI

Dan of Establishment | Three.Six.Five started out with a 1998 Peugeot 106 Quiksilver, he ended up going down the euro route and ran it quite low on a set of BBS RM004 wheels, with a few smoothed area's and a few subtle touches here and there as well as the great handling it was an all round fun car... After seeing a polo 6r (poverty spec model) at a show a few years ago he knew he had to have one, winter rolled round in 2011 and he knew the 106 wasn't going to last, he picked himself up a little rover metro, dropped all the fluid out of the suspension system, and even dropping air out of the tyres so it ran lower and seemingly smashed the floor... (sump was tig welded and repaired three times within the two months of use)

While still on the look out for a polo 6r, he originally wanted a 1.6 diesel in SEL spec with 'boavista' 17" alloy wheels, half leather seats & a touch screen stereo, but this was proving hard as they were quite rare or either well overpriced, while bored one night he got a cheeky insurance quote on a GTI, after this coming out a lot cheaper than expected his mind was set, he was going to get a GTI, with a budget of £16,000 to spend he found the perfect one that cropped up for sale for £15,975, after going to Mansfield, test driving and putting a deposit down on it, no longer than a week later, he had an 11 plate GTI in candy white on his hands...
Within the hour of it being bought he drove the car straight to his work where he set on de-wipering the rear, the following day the car was up on the ramps having coilovers fitted 3 days later the wheels came off again and were repainted in Honda's 'Galaxy Grey' all set for Ultimate Dubs 2012, then a little later on in the year before DC a friends XXR 527 wheels which he ended up buying were fitted and it rolled to DC Show picking up second best polo in show .. Fast forward to a week before Players show a trip down to London as arranged, Dan picked up a a set of 17x8 Rotiform BLQ's wrapped them in 195/40 tyres did Players Show on them and was fairly content with the car and that was about it for 2012.
Show season rolled around again & Dan had spent a large amount of time under the radar with his polo.. By the time it rolled out for its first show in April after a crash in the bad weather meaning he had to replace the whole front end of the car it was back on the Rotiforms with skinnier tyres, a smooth front bumper was created and refitted .. And with a little extra help of Accuair E-Level air ride management and AirRex bags, which helped on getting the car to sit alot lower and pretty much spot on all round on the wheels.
Dan would like to thank all the other guys over at Establishment | Three.Six.Five for there help & support through out on the car & thanks to Luke from Plush Automotive for supplying the air struts, also a massive thanks to his boss John Creasey at Paint Perfect in Lincoln

Stanced.Imaging would like to thank Dan for his absolutely stunning Polo to shoot! The weather was great, we also had an awesome location to use, I would also like to thank my Liam for helping out on the shoot, assisting me & helping out also capturing his own images! The feature shoot itself went very well, when both Dan I knew I could give only the upmost best for this & go all out! Which I did. Finding an absolute stunner of a location with some help from my Dad we had that sorted, arranged a date & time.. From their it was all down to weather, which was perfect for the whole shoot. Blissful sun meant I could create images I am extremely pleased with to a great level of care, this shoot had large amounts of prep work & planning & it all paid off.. As a feature for this car has been on the books for a year feel we smashed it. I'm very greatful Dan chose me for the shoot & I appreciate the opportunity to shoot an amazing car.
Thanks
